What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. OPPE uses as few as possible: a handful of necessary cookies of its own, and Google's advertising cookies only if you allow them. Your documents are never stored in cookies or anywhere else.
Necessary cookies
These cookies are needed for the site to work and remember your choices. They contain no personal data and are not used for tracking, so they do not require consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
oppe-theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. | 1 year |
oppe-consent | Remembers whether you accepted or declined advertising cookies. | 1 year (6 months if you decline) |
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* | Security token of the web framework (ASP.NET Core) that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Until you close the browser |
Advertising cookies (only with your consent)
If you accept advertising cookies, Google AdSense shows ads and Google and its partners may set cookies to serve ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent abuse; they may personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites. If you decline, no advertising script is loaded and no advertising cookie is set.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
__gads, __gpi, __eoi | Google AdSense: serving and measuring ads, frequency capping, fraud prevention and, if allowed, personalisation. | Up to 13 months |
Managing your choice
You can change your decision at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page: the question is shown again and Google's advertising cookies on this site are deleted. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the tools keep working without them.
Changes to this policy
If we start using a new cookie, we will list it here and update the date at the top of the page.
