Split a large PDF into the parts you need: type ranges such as "1-3, 4-8", create parts of a fixed number of pages or turn every page into its own file. Each part keeps the links, bookmarks and form fields of its pages, and no content of the other pages is carried into it.

How to split a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF; its pages appear as previews.
  2. Choose how to split: custom ranges, fixed size or every page.
  3. Press "Split PDF" and download the parts one by one or as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Can I save specific pages as a separate file?

Yes. Type for example 2-5 in "Custom ranges" to get a PDF with just those pages; several ranges become several files.

Does splitting reduce quality?

No. Pages are not re-rendered; text, images and fonts are copied byte for byte.

Is splitting safe?

Your file is processed in your browser and never sent to a server. It is wiped from memory when you start over or leave the page.
